Unlimited Detail Real-Time Rendering Technology Preview 2011 [HD]

[HD version of the other video] Hi everyone. We’ve been working very hard and we hope you like what we’ve made. This is just our 1 year report, after which we will probably go quiet again while we finish our work. This demo only shows what was ready at the time, we have a lot of really good stuff here but we are keeping it secret for now. (Yes grumpy forum people, we do have animation, but you’ll just have to be patient.) It’s been a busy year, and all is going very well; we only have 9 people working here, but will be hiring a few more soon. We also have another piece of technology that isn’t graphics, but does something game related that’s also pretty clever, but we’ll keep that secret for now. We get a lot of fan mail from Germany and Brazil so I thought I’d put a link to the transcript of the video underneath just in case my accent is hard to understand. I’d like to thank you all for your emails and kind support. Kindest Regards, Bruce Robert Dell — CEO Euclideon. www.euclideon.com info@euclideon.com Transcript in English and Italian www.euclideon.com I’d like to thank my best friend Addisyn Batchelor, for writing out the transcript of the video. I’d also like to thank Fabio Daniele for the Italian transcript, Edgar Büchner for creating the German subtitles and Edson Gomes, for subtitling the video into Portuguese, that was soooo nice of you, your kindness will not be forgotten, if there is ever anything i can do for you, just ask. Hi Brazil, (Wave, Wave !) thanks

  • New Sony Crystal LED Display Technology FIRST HANDS ON

Posted on April 17th, 2012 Tech Nerd 23 comments

To learn more: www.sony.com Check out Sony’s “Crystal LED Display,” shown on a Full HD, 55-inch prototype model at CES. It is the industry’s first 55-inch Full HD self-emitting display using LEDs as the light source. It showcases using unique methods to mount ultrafine LEDs in each of the Red-Green-Blue (RGB) colors, equivalent to the number of pixels (approximately six-million LEDs for Full HD). The RGB LED light source is mounted directly on the front of the display, dramatically improving the light use efficiency. This results in images with strikingly higher contrast (in both light and dark environments), wider color gamut, superb video image response time, and wider viewing angles when compared to existing LCD and plasma displays, with low power consumption. Furthermore, due to the display’s structure, the “Crystal LED Display” is also ideal for large screens. Parallel to its continued development and commercialization of organic light emitting diode (OLED) displays, Sony will work conscientiously to bring the “Crystal LED Display” to market. You can learn more about this new display tech when Anthony from SGNL by Sony chats with a member from the product team. Subscribe for CES coverage! www.youtube.com More SGNL www.youtube.com
